Meet Olivia!

Are you snowed in?? me too!
I would like you all to meet Miss Olivia. She is a nice departure from my regular paper dolls because she is not based on any specific literary or historical figure, which gave me a little more room to be imaginative. Olivia has a spectacular imagination and she liked to pretend she is on the crew of a massive maritime vessel.

here is Olivia in her sailor suit!

and the line drawing (my favorite part)

Look for her in my shop! http://www.etsy.com/listing/64902420/olivia-paper-doll
I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season!

Do you like MONSTERS?

Do you enjoy a child’s rendition of monsters through artwork??
Do you fancy stop animation and mad film-making?
WELL
Then I daresay you might enjoy my friend Charles Pieper's artwork and films!
Here is a link to his Tumblr “Young Monsters” where he posts the prolific drawings of monsters he drew as a monster-obsessed child! As well as general musings and current artwork!

AND
Check out his stop motion animation films! I have always loved the look of stop motion, it is something I would like to try and do one of these days!

Here is my personal favorite, “Eye Contact” It is wacky and weird and quite funny I think, also tragic?
